Portions of East Baton Rouge Will Soon Qualify for 100% Financing
The Rural Development mortgage loan, also referred to as RD financing, is a wonderful way to get the home you have always wanted without having to put ANY money down! That's right, RD is a mortgage loan option that offers 100% financing with interest rates currently around 4.25%. Fees and interest rate subject to change among different lenders. The household income limits for 1-4 member family from $74,750 to $76,350. Additionally, 5-8 member family has been increased to $100,800. Previously, the only qualifying areas included most of West Baton Rouge, Iberville, Livingston, and Ascension Parishes. However, as of October 1, 2014 areas of East Baton Rouge Parish now qualify for Rural Development loans! Reference the map below for the new areas that have been added. The area outside of the red line are the qualifying areas in Baton Rouge. Remember, Ascension parish, Livingston Parish and parts of West Baton Rouge are included as well!
