Pi Sigma Epsilon's Rock N' Wear 2014

Pi Sigma Epsilon - Beta X Chapter is hosting the 8th Annual Rock N' Wear Fashion Show on November 19, 2014 at Breakroom at IPO. Local boutiques and companies around the Baton Rouge area will provide their clothes to be displayed in the fashion show. Local Baton Rouge boutiques include Kendra Scott, Rodeo Boutique, Elle Boutique, Posh Boutique, Southern Titde, Bandin, and more!
There will be a musical performance by Alex Smith, as well as FREE food provided by Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant- Baton Rouge and Schlittz & Giggles. Prizes will be given out throughout the night- like a $100 bar tab- so you don't want to miss out! Doors open at 7pm with musical performace Alex Smith. Fashion show will begin at 8pm. *Special appearance by Baton Rouge fashion blogger, Lala Vied*

July 4, 2014 Events in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Star Spangled 4th of July Celebration - Family Friendly
Downtown Baton Rouge Riverfront Plaza.
This is an annual event that kicks off at noon at the Riverfront Stage between the USS KIDD Memorial and Red Stick Plaza. Starting at noon, there will be live music and vendor booths along with tours of the USS KIDD Memorial Museum will be from 9 a.m. -3p.m. At 6:10pm there will be a mock attack on USS KIDD, you do not want to miss this! Fire works on the Mississippi will begin at 9pm.

Fourth of July at L'Auberge Casino - Adults only
7pm-2am
Live music will begin at 8pm, followed by Fireworks at 9:30pm. More music performances will proceed the fire work show. You must be 21 or older to enter the Rooftop Pool, Edge and Casino floor.

LSU Museaum of Art and Tsunami
Located at the Shaw Center for the Arts on Lafayette Street, the Annual 4th of July fundraiser will begin at 7pm until 9pm and will include live music along side a selection of southern BBQ, wine, beer and sangria. The firework over the Mississippi will begin at 9pm. Purchase your ticket today!

Red, White & Blue Festival - Family Friendly
Celebrate in Clinton with a Spectacular Music Concerts along with fire work display, antique car show, blueberry cooking contest, golf cart parade, fabulous food, 5k run walk, children stage and much mor

USS KIDD's Freedom Festival - Family Friendly
Free annual event open to the public from 11am-4pm. The Nation of Patriots will be conducting a Passing of the Flag Ceremony in the Memorial Plaza at noon. There will be inflatables, face painters, obstacle courses, games and much more. Lunch plates benefiting the USS Kidd will be available in the museum snack bar. Fireworks will be at 9pm.

Downtown Spectacular 5000 Meter Road Race

Attention All Runners and Fun Lovers

Come Out This Saturday to the

Happys5000 Run!

Come have some fun this Saturday in Downtown Baton Rouge at the Downtown Spectacular 5000 Meter Road Race a.k.a the Happys5000 Run. Registration is $30 to participate in the race, but if running is not your thing there will also be music, art, food, and drinks. Along with topping the night off with a mile beer run starting at 7:30 PM. Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Revue will be the musical performaces. Everything kicks off at 5 p.m. at North Boulevard's Town Square.
