Relax on your private back porch overlooking the subdivisions private lake. Nicholson Lakes subdivision began developing in 2005 and was completed in 2012. Most of the homes feature open floor plans which is great for entertaining. The homes you would expect to see in Nicholson

What's Going on Nearby the Nicholson Lakes Neighborhood?
Nicholson Lakes is not only close to LSU but also across the street from the new casino, L'Auberge Hotel and Casino. The new casino boasts a
wide range of entertainment, dining and gaming activities. They have four
distinct dining destinations, table games, poker room and give away events. If
you like music events, the casino hosts concerts and multiple restaurants and bars for you
to unwind. If you like a more serene experience, take your four-legged friend
to play and socialize at BREC Dog Park located within the Burbank Sports
Complex. This is my favorite dog park in Baton Rouge, as it has two gated
sections for the separation of small dogs and large dogs, as well as a man made
pond for your canine to cool off in. Nearby Hartley Vey Park has a baseball field
and soccer field available for multi-sports activities for children and teens.
They also offer one night a week of free play! If you are like me and are
constantly having to run errands for your home and family, you will be delighted
to know that Walmart Supercenter is just 3 miles away. It is now open on the
corner of Burbank Dr. and Bluebonnet Blvd. At this same intersection you will
see that there is an Albertsons grocery store, a tanning salon, and an array of
fast food restaurants. Two of my favorite sit-down restaurants in the area are
Sammy's Grill and La Carretta Mexican Restaurant. Sammy's Grill is a local
favorite that serves Cajun seafood and southern cuisine. You will quickly find
that most Baton Rougeans will say Sammy's Grill has the best Crawfish in the
city. If you find yourself at Sammy's Grill pinching tails, make sure to ask
for the special Crawfish dipping sauce! It's simply amazing! Enough about mudbugs...
what will you do when you have the shopping bug? The Mall
of Louisiana and Perkins Rowe are just 5 miles away. Perkins Rowe has a variety
of popular restaurants, several big name clothing stores and small boutiques, a
Barnes and Nobles book store and a CVS Pharmacy. Catch the latest flick at the
Cinemark Movie Theater also located in Perkins Rowe. Find out more about the

The park also offers an amphitheater for social activities and an open field for sports. There is also a sidewalk within the community that leads to The Dunham School. Homes in Settlement at Willow Grove are timeless in design and high in quality. The square footage of these homes range between 1,500 - 6,000 sq. ft. It consists of 3, 4, 5 bedroom floor plans.
