Crawfish Season is Here!
I have put together a small list of locations in Baton Rouge that are highly recommended to satisfy all your mud-bug needs. Now that the cold has gone away we hope the prices will go down. If you have any great suggestions or comments for restaurants with the best crawfish, leave us a comment below!
1. Sammy's Grill
Sammy's Grill has two locations; Highland Rd. in Baton Rouge and Airline Hwy in Prairieville. Sammy's is one is my absolute favorite cajun joints in Baton Rouge. Not only do their crawfish look like they take steroids, but they even come with a special sauce to dip them in! I am telling you, once you have Sammy's Grill crawfish, you will not want to go anywhere else!
2. Parrain's Seafood
Is a close second to Sammy's Grill. Parrain's Seafood is a Baton Rouge favorite which offers a wide variety of seafood dishes. Crawfish being one of them, however please call before you go because certain days of the week are when boiled crawfish are offered. Parrain's also offers a unique atmosphere which is a nice change of scenery. It is located on Perkins Road.
3. Tony's Seafood
This restaurant is a well-rounded seafood place which offers well-seasoned crawfish, but offers other options such as boudin balls. If you are a Louisiana Native you are sure to love this place. Again please give them a call before you go to find out if crawfish are offered on every night or to find out if crawfish to go is an option.
