The Louisiana Homes and Land team wish you and your family a wonderful Easter Holiday. To help make your holiday a little more fun, we have gathered a list of Easter events that will be occurring here in Baton Rouge. These events include festivals and opportunities for a photo with the famous Peter Cottontail! If you know of any other events that we may have missed, please comment below.


1. BREC Community Egg Hunt
Saturday,Apr 12, 2014 from 9am-12pm. Forest Community Park
Event will include: Inflatables, games, treats, playground equipment and even a visit from the Easter Bunny!

2. Easter for Kids
Saturday, Apr 12th 9:30a to 12:00pat Cross of Glory Lutheran Church
Children from preschool - 5th grade. True meaning of Easter at Cross of Glory that will be fun crafts, a guitar sing-along, and an egg hunt. This is a free event.

3. Family of Faith, SBC Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, Apr 12th 2p-4p at Family of Faith Church located at 10748 Perkins Road. Free event for families with children 0-3rd grade. Event will includes egg hunts, bounce houses, face painting, pony rides, snocones, hot dogs and much more!!

4. Annual Easter Fest - Elm Park Baptist Church
Saturday, Apr 12th 11am at Elm Park Baptist Church

5. Old Fashion Easter Celebration
Sunday, April 13th from 1p-4p at the LSU Rural Life Museum on Essen Ln. Event will include easter egg hunt, egg dyeing demonstration, music, storytelling and several relay games. There will even be a photo opportunity with the bunny!!

6. Easter Bunny Party
Thursday, Apr 17th at 6pm. Livingston Parish Library. Families with kids ages 3-11. Free event. Will include an egg hunt, balloon bowling, and more. There will also be a story time reading of The Easter Bunny’s Assistant by Jan Thomas.

7. Louisiana Leadership Institute's annual Easter egg hunt
Saturday, Apr 19th 9:00am- noon at 5763 Hooper Road. Easter egg hunt and other fun activites.

8. Easter Brunch
Sunday, April 20th at 18 Steak in the L'Auberge Baton Rouge Casino and Hotel. This brunch will include fresh local ingredients and wine pairings for each course. The price is $29.99 and you must be 21 years or older to attend.

9. Easter Brunch at Renaissance Hotel
Sunday, Apr 20th 10am-2pm at Renaissance Hotel. Kids’ activities include egg hunt and egg decorating.  $42/adult, $22/kids ages 5 – 12, Free for kids 5 and under.  For reservations, call 225.215.7000.

10. Mall of Louisiana - Photos with the Bunny
The Easter Bunny is available for photos during the following times:
Monday-Saturday: 10am - 8pm
Sunday: 12 noon - 6pm
Extended Hours begin April 16: 10am - 9pm 

11. Pet Photo with the Easter Bunny at the Mall of Louisiana
Your furry friend can visit our furry friend, the Easter Bunny, on Monday, April 14th beginning at 6:00 PM.
