The Baton Rouge housing market is making a shift into a seller's market. Buyers are taking full advantage of the low interest rates, however the rates are projected to increase by the end of the 2015 year.  When considering either selling or buying a home, it’s important to be aware of what’s happening in this ever changing market. Recent Baton Rouge Housing Reports show that the median price in June 2015 was $190,000, which is nearly 3% higher than last year. The number of closed sales is up by 10.6% from last year. Baton Rouge residents are starting to see their local inventory drop fairly quickly.
